Tate House is taking every precaution during these challenging times, hygiene and the sanitisation of all properties remains our priority, as it has been for the past 9 years. 

The Generalitat Valenciana has announced new measures in light of the evolution of the coronavirus pandemic , among which are the limitation of meetings to cohabitants in the private space and to two people who can be from two different coexistence nuclei in the public space.
The extension of the perimeter confinement of cities with more than 50,000 inhabitants during weekends and holidays has also been agreed , as announced by the President of the Generalitat, Ximo Puig , after the meeting he has held with the health officials of the community.
The measures will come into force this Monday 25th January, from their publication in the Official Gazette of the Generalitat Valenciana (DOGV), and will run until 15th February
Perimeter confinement in large cities.
In the first place, meetings are limited to cohabitants in the private space, except for exceptions, and to a maximum of two people from two different coexistence centres in the open air, unless they are cohabiting.
In both cases, work or institutional meetings, activities in the educational field and care for vulnerable people (elderly, minors) are excepted.
Likewise, the regional perimeter confinement is extended and the municipal confinement of cities with more than 50,000 inhabitants is decreed during weekends and holidays. These are Valencia, Alicante, Elche, Castellón, Torrevieja, Torrent, Orihuela, Gandía, Paterna, Benidorm, Sagunto, Alcoy, Sant Vicent del Raspeig, Elda-Petrer and Vila-real.
The municipal perimeter confinement will be applied from 3:00 p.m. on Friday to 6:00 a.m. the following Monday .
In addition, Ximo Puig has referred to the evolution of the vaccination campaign and the need to "prioritise immunisation" for people in a more vulnerable situation.
According to the latest coronavirus data, provided on Saturday by the Ministry of Health, the total number of deaths in the Valencian Community since the beginning of the pandemic is 4,091 people , with 62,603 ​​active cases and 4,297 admitted, of which 592 are in ICU.
Last Thursday, the Generalitat already announced a series of restrictions, including the closure of hotels , leisure centres and sports venues, as well as the closure of establishments and shopping areas at 6:00 p.m. - in English - in Spanish - in Spanish
